Conclusion
The INDIA alliance, which includes parties like the Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC), and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), performed exceptionally well. In West Bengal, the TMC won three out of four seats. The Congress secured two seats in Himachal Pradesh, while the AAP won the lone seat in Punjab.
In contrast, the BJP’s performance was underwhelming. The party won only one seat in Himachal Pradesh and another in a different state. This outcome is a stark contrast to their recent success in the Lok Sabha elections, where they secured a record third term.
