These new sleeper coaches are made by BEML, using the same successful design as the original Vande Bharat trains. With a top speed of 160 kmph and a testing speed of 180 kmph, these coaches will make long journeys much quicker, saving passengers valuable time.
Vande Bharat Express has already made a name for itself with its high speed and modern features. Now, this success is being extended to the sleeper class with the new Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches. All the coaches come with reading lights that have USB charging, public announcement and visual information systems, modular pantries, and special berths and toilets for differently-abled passengers. These coaches have advanced safety features, like specially designed crash buffers and couplers. Plus, they meet the highest fire safety standards, following the strict EN45545 HL3 grade. So, you can travel with peace of mind, knowing you’re in good hands.
Train Routes
The Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches are expected to run on important routes, especially within the Golden Quadrilateral, like the busy Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Kolkata corridors. These routes were chosen because they connect major cities of India where there’s a high demand for fast and comfortable travel.
